Grafana is basically graphing tooling that plays nice with Prometheus among others. It’s all about building dynamic, customized dashboards for monitoring and analytics. Grafana is good at data presentation and insight.
In most cases, they go hand in glove: Prometheus as the data gatherer, and Grafana for visualization.
